Biography

Syeeda Keith, also known as Syeeda K, was born on January 25,1998 in Denver, Colorado. Her passion for dance started at an early age, when she first started dance-battling in the streets. At the age of 8 she started praise dance at her church, which ignited the passion for her evolution through dance. Syeeda K continued to enhance her technique and skillset by performing with Starlights drill team, Supershock All-Stars, Cleo Parker Robinson Dance, and her professional careers with the Denver Nuggets and Dallas Cowboy organizations.

Syeeda K majored in Dance at Denver School of the Arts (DSA) from 2010-2016. Her training includes ballet, modern, jazz, African, improvisational dance, partnering, and tap. Her education at DSA taught her the history and terminology of dance styles, and as well as the art of choreography and performance. While attending DSA, Syeeda also studied at Cleo Parker Robinson, a renowned dance ensemble, where she enhanced her technique and studied Horton and contemporary dance styles. Syeeda graduated from DSA with scholarships to attend both AMDA Conservatory College and Cali Arts in Los Angeles, California.

Syeeda’s cheer history includes lettering in cheer, winning an All-American Cheer title, 2 national championships, Best jumps award, and the Jose des Award. High-energy and unbridled passion are the result of her years spent cheering and competing.

After graduation, Syeeda began her professional career working as a Denver Nuggets Dancer for the 2016/2017 and 2017/2018 seasons, and as a Dallas Cowboy Rhythm and Blue Dancer for the 2018/2019 football season. In 2019, Syeeda continued her professional pursuits dancing for Keke Palmer (actor/singer/songwriter/tv personality), and starting her own business.

Syeeda attributes her passion and resilience to her family who have always encouraged the development of her natural talent. The source of Syeeda’s inspiration is her mother, who suffers from multiple long-term illness and has battled through over a dozen surgeries, defining and modeling what it is to be a strong survivor. At the age of 15, Syeeda was an innocent bystander, near a shooting, where she was shot in the head. These experiences fueled Syeeda’s ambition; she is committed to taking on new challenges with excitement and passion, and ensuring her dreams are realized.

Syeeda is currently traveling teaching master classes and private lessons; she can be booked for master classes, private lessons, choreography, performances, or photo shoots.
